We’ve all been there….. , “I just don’t have the time.”
This is legitimately my ultimate excuse for anything that involves exercise, sleep, eating right, or anything self-care.
But reality is you have to make time. You have choices.
Do I want to spend extra time watching T.V. or browsing social media….or do I want to get a 30 minute work out and prepare healthy meal lunches for the week??
Some days I choose the first option..
BUT, I have to remind myself how my body and mind feels when I don’t choose healthy choices.
Working full time, taking care of the house and running after two toddler boys can leave me with small amounts of time to worry about being healthy, but I have found that even the small things can at least get you steered in the right direction.
Below are 5 things that help me keep a healthy lifestyle …. that don’t require too much time.

3. Shake it up
If your in a hurry like me 99.9% of the time…. then shakes may be your thing! Not only are they quick and easy, but you can disguise healthy ingredients that may not be very tasty… uuhhhmmmm CELERY. A fast an easy way to mix up your shakes is with none other than a NINJA blender. The ninja is super fast and super powerful, taking the guesswork out of drink making.
4. Drink, Drink, Drink
I’m not just talking about any drink here. I’m talking about water! Making sure to drink enough water throughout the day does wonders for your health. I am definitely guilty of getting too busy and forgetting to drink enough throughout the day. A great way to make sure you do drink enough water, is to get a water bottle that holds at least a half gallon. 5. Rest Is Best
Getting enough sleep is vital to healthy living and to basically help you function! Many times our brains have a hard time shutting down and they just keep going and going and going and……you get the idea.
